Clean good size rooms, excellent location on sea front, nice local restuarants just around corner, can walk to shopping centre, small but friendly with pleasent bar area and front terrace ideal no frills base for relaxing stay
Situation on seafront plus en-suite room
Bedding - mattress worn out- blankets in this age ? should be duvet's in other words the whole bed and bed covers need renewal to modern standards - apart from that the hotel was ok.
Location very good for beach, shopping, end Devonshire Park. Staff very nice and obliging. Although I can only comment on breakfast, which was excellent. This is a very basic hotel but clean and tidy
Central to where we were going
The beautiful view from our bay window on the second floor. We only stayed from Friday to Sunday, it was the first time we have ever been to Eastbourne. We will come again. We were so pleased when we saw the excellent view from the bedroom window.
Great beach views from our room
location was excellent, staff nice and friendly, breakfast was lovely
tv channels poor only 3, electric heaters not great, warmm enough but would prefer central heating.
We only stayed for one night however we were very pleased with the accomodation. The room was comfortable and pleasant.
As I am disabled I did find the few steps I had to use to access our room quite difficult. Perhaps it would have been better if there had been somewhere on the booking form to inform you prior to our stay of my disability.
It was cheap and cheerful, right on the seafront and easy to find. Breakfast was superb - possibly the best we have eaten.
Public areas were far too hot although bedroom was OK.
This is a warm and friendly hotel with staff very forthcoming and attentive, but not overly. Well trained i would say. our room was facing the sea with a lovely balcony. recently decorated its very tasteful. overall a very pleasnt stay and made to feel very welcomed. Thank you
like hostel, not recommend
The location sea front was good
Good Breakfast Good views of beach and sea
Totally had a fantastic visit, the staff are so friendly & helpfull
its good position, its comfortable room,
my previous visit to eastbourne offered a buufet breakfast which was superior to obans however the spaceous twin room and comfortable chairs made up for this.
It was very clean and staff where polite and helpful.Right on the beach front ,lovely views of the sea.We didnt have breakfast as we lay in, so cant comment on that. The bed was the most comfortable bed ive ever slept in.
The only thing that let it down was when people moved into room above us we could really hear them and when they walked across the floor it vibrated and made the tea cups clink. We were at the back of the building and couldnt really sleep until all the revellers had gone from the pub which was late.We purposley chose this hotel as there wasnt entertainment on,so thought it would be quiet in evening and its away from the town center.
